Keith and Joanna (the missionaries we stayed with) are helping several different familes - one is this family of seven, or as Keith refers to them, "The Seven." The father of this family recently passed away and because of his alcholism before his death, they lost their house too when he sold it to pay for liquor (but the mother didn't find out until after his death).
Here's the mother talking to Keith with most of her children nearby
This is their current home (the one the father sold before he passed). The new owner agreed to let The Seven stay there with his sister's family until a new house can be built for them
This is the inside of the house - 14 people total live in this house at the moment. There are two rooms and only a handful of beds.
Beind that curtain is the "restroom" (and I use that term lightly)
This is the new home being built for The Seven
It is just down the hill from where their current home is
Sam gave Felipe a ride down the hill
The house isn't quite finished, but it's getting close. The walls are about shoulder/head height
The Seven are very excited about their new home
This is the oldest son, Nelson
Nelson signed his name into the concrete of his new home, can you see it?
We stayed and visited with The Seven for a while
