What a clutz!

I'm having clutzy problems this morning!

I've spilled coffee grounds all over the top of the big John Conti coffee maker in the kitchenette at work and spilled a full glass of water all over my desk (and for those that know me, you know my desk is *covered* with papers, pens, mugs, books, etc...).  What a soggy mess.

Sigh.  And it's only 10:00am.

Fall Weather

Who else is ready for more fall like weather?  As I was leaving my house this morning, I heard the wind rustle some leaves on my driveway and it made me long for the cooler temps that usually come with such rustling.  I've realized with the sweltering summer we've had that I haven't spent much time outside....and love to be outside.  So I am so ready to sit on my porch with some coffee and enjoy the outdoors.  Who's with me?

Annabel Ruth

A couple weeks ago, I got to meet little Annabel Ruth!  Her mom, Jenn, is one of my dear, sweet friends!  Jenn and Annabel were in town from Florida where they (and Jenn's hubby, Michael) currently reside.  Jenn has a blog called Spoonful of Sunshine so those of us back in KY can keep up with her and her sweet little family.  You should check it out!

Due to my crazy work schedule at the time it was hard to find a time to get together, so Jenn stopped by my work and we hung out for a bit in the conference room.
That's me with Annabel and Jenn.

And here's one of just me and Annabel.  Isn't her bow cute?  Jenn makes bows and other things for little girls.  You can find her page on facebook if you search "spoonful of sunshine".  She will sell and ship you something cute for that sweet little girl in your life!
She was out!  I loved holding her while she snoozed away.

Even though Jenn has moved to Florida and I don't see her much, I do think of her often.  She made me this puffy painted bag for a birthday present she gave me one year.....and I now carry it back and forth to work with my lunch in it.

Also, on the shelf behind my monitor at work, I have an awesome picture of us.  Makes me smile every time I look at it.  Can you see the frame sitting on those book behind my monitor?  (it's kinda dark)
Need a little closer view of the awesomeness of that picture?
Fire Marshall Bill has nothing on us.
