As September rolled around, my PPD meds were really helping to level me out. I made the giant step from having live-in help (Brandon's mom) to taking care of Will by myself again. Of course, nobody was too far away and we still had lots of visits from family.
September 3, 2014:
My Mom in Town
An outing to Garden Ridge turned into a nursing session in the outdoor seating department.
We discovered early-on Jedi's love for books and reading.
September 5-7, 2014:
First Visit to the Grandparents' Houses
Our first stop was Lville to my parents house. My Dad's side of the family came over too.
All the grandkids have had a sink bath by Nana
One reason we were in town was for the annual neighborhood yard sale. It's a huge event and we always do pretty well at selling our unwanteds.
My friend, Gina, stopped in to meet Jedi.
Shannon stopped by with Baby D too for another photo op
My Mom's two best friends came over as well. Here's Tammy charming Jedi....
....and later, Susan making eyes at him!
First visit to Nana & Pawpaw's House is in the books.
On the way out of town, we stopped in to see Brandon's Mammaw (his Mom's mom). Jedi is blessed to have 5 living great-grandparents!
Great Aunt Pam was also there
Our next stop was in Cville to visit Mammaw & Pappaw (Brandon's parents).
Brandon snatched up Little S (his cousin, Shannon's little girl)....
....while Shannon got her hands on Jedi!
Little S thought Jedi was a baby doll. She loved kissing him!
Great Aunt Sharry
Great Aunt Wanda
Cousin-in-law ChristyAnn
We were so happy to visit Mammaw & Pappaw's House too!
September 10, 2014:
2 Months Old!!
He took his shots like a champ, but they tuckered him out.
September 12, 2014:
Date Night
Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins
September 15, 2014:
My Parents in Town
Jedi is such a happy, smiley, and content little guy.
September 19, 2014:
Oktoberfest at Christ the King Church
We went with Brandon's office-mate, Zach, and his wife, Jackie.
Where's Jedi?
Making laps at the mall in his stroller.
Like any other mother of a youngin, I stayed covered in spit-up.
Jedi loves taking baths!
Great-Granny with Jedi
Another visit to C-ville for Ham Days
Hanging out with Daddy
Poop Face
Nursing session in the changing room at Meijer.....this was right before a melt-down on Jedi's part that sent me to the car, crying all the way home.
You live and learn though, and this melt-down helped me to realize I needed a stronger dose of my meds! Thankfully, my doctor agreed and I my dosage was doubled. October would prove to be much better and the fog would start to lift.
